1890s' Window Repair

1890s' Window Repair

This week i took on a repair of a 2nd story bay window on a building built in the 1890s according to the tenant. The original or original-ish materials were recently covered in tin leaving a lot to be desired as far as looks and functionality goes when the new windows were installed (large gaps around the windows and rotten sills letting water in). Everything was stripped down until the rotten wood was gone and repaired. Once repaired everything was put back together using all PVC materials for a long life but still classic look.
